- I was in a place of overwhelm, disorganization & mental/emotional overload. First, Sarah’s calm, soft demeanor was, off the bat, calming. Working with Sarah gave me the space to say the things I needed to say out loud. Sarah provided a non-judgmental & solution oriented approach. Sarah’s genuine curiosity & dedication to serve translated in profound ways that I did not expect. She was able to call me on my stuff in a way that kept me in an introspective space. Sarah was kind, compassionate and nonjudgmental which created space for true insight and change.
I gained insight, clarity and a sense of peace. I couldn’t ask for more. I have had life hand me some rotten eggs since, however since I was able to face it from this place, I was able to manage my part of the story with grace.
I have learned that it’s perfectly ok to be me. I have gained confidence and a stronger sense of self. I have learned to slow down, listen to my body and honor my emotions & intuition.
I would recommend working with Sarah to anyone. I see a superpower in helping women find their confidence = purpose.S.C., RN, Mother
When I first started working with Sarah I was in the height of wrestling seasons for three of my sons, in a new certification program and my consultant workload had just increased.I was feeling out of balance slightly I had been trying to figure out how to involve my husband in my business to help offset some of the load and create a team effort with him. Sarah was able to guide me through the process of setting healthy boundaries in my work life balance to re-establish my equilibrium. Together Sarah and I came up with a plan to involve my husband in by business. He now runs all of my billing and plans to be involved with the behind the scenes work as well.
My experience with Sarah was incredible. What I liked most is that she is very professional and easy to talk to, our conversations flowed smoothly every session. Having a safe space to bounce around ideas was so helpful on this journey. She encouraged me and asked hard questions related to being a high achiever and helped to set healthy boundaries concerning the workload I take on and the importance to maintain the proper balance.
I would recommend Sarah as a Nurse Coach to anyone who needs support in creating healthy boundaries in all areas to live a life of health and wellness.Heidi Priest
Sarah is a natural empathic beauty who uses her instincts and excellent wordsmithing to create narrative, storytelling and situation appropriate mindfulness sessions. She creates a calm and trust filled container with comfortable chat prior to diving in which creates an ease, making it easier to "drop in" and "play full out". Sarah met my excitement with equal excitement and always patiently let me chat and then go right into the sessions with gusto.
I gained several insights during our sessions including a better grasp on how to exit out of a mindfulness session, as the leader of the session with grace and the appropriate amount of time. Honed into what type of mindfulness I would like to practice post certification and what kind of clientele, (niche) I might be interested in pursuing.
I saw amazing results in each session including great relaxation, new confidence, and a greater sense of balance post sessions. What I liked best was her smile, skillful word working, intuitive insights, wonderful strength of presence, honesty and kindness. Anyone would be lucky to work with such a compassionate, empathic and smart nurse! Thank you for everything, wishing you nothing but the best of luck and the greatest joys!Jennifer G., RN
- I was going on years without sleeping well or eating appropriately. Additionally, I have been unhappy and unfulfilled with my current job environment. I have also been dealing with my husband's struggles. The sessions with Sarah helped me to talk with someone about everything and to get things off of my chest. I otherwise do not have another person to talk to that I am comfortable with sharing the information with or who is in a neutral position such as her.
Working with you was a very positive experience. It also helped to have someone who was not only a good listener but could relate to some of the concerns and issues I deal with. In addition, you made me feel comfortable and safe to discuss things I usually do not like to discuss or admit as problems in my life.
The benefits from our coaching sessions were validation of things that I struggle with. You wouldn't just empathize with me, you would validate my emotions and concerns which helped me cope. Results from our sessions included better eating habits and the motivation and courage to change jobs.
From our coaching I've learned that I'm not alone in the everyday life issues that I deal with and that I'm not necessarily failing in aspects that I have been worried about. I know I need to make changes to better my lifestyle, and I am working towards them. I've learned some methods to implement a better sleep routine and eating habits.
I would honestly recommend you to anyone.Kristy, 43, NV
I have always had a hard time relaxing and I’ve never been successful at meditation. At the time we started working together I had been out of work for several months due to burn out and was not having much success at focusing and figuring out which direction to go. The mindfulness sessions helped me to calm down, slow down, and actually brought up feelings that I’ve been stuffing down for years so that I could release them.
Sarah is very calming and relaxing. Her voice has a hypnotic tone to it that helped me relax and let go. I never felt judged when I got emotional and she was always willing to try a new method of meditation or just go with the flow.
I learned some new meditations. One of the meditations she created for me I have used over and over to help release old stuff and to become centered. I have learned that it’s okay and helpful to stop thinking. To be able to relax my mind and go on a mini vacation can be more healing than any amount of therapy.Heidi, 48, AZ, RN
I was tenuously searching for career advancement and the CNOR/RNFA program looked attractive, but I had done nothing to start the journey. I have had sleep and nutrition peaks and valleys, and a new relationship that I was attempting to navigate. These sessions had a remarkable positive impact on my career path, where I asked questions and received the feedback I needed to get involved immediately.
Now I am enrolled in these programs and confident in the process. My well being has shown positive improvement as I have more tools and confidence to engage in better sleep hygiene, nutrition, and navigate a relationship with more room for accepting that I will not be perfect one hundred percent of the time.
I had an incredible experience working with Sarah. I liked that it was an earnest and structured excavation of my past, present, and exploration into my future as well as embodying the tone of a casual conversation. I gained insight, confidence, and a sounding board for things in my life I wanted to change or maintain.
I learned about the process of the CNOR/RNFA program and how to navigate it. I learned to give myself a break when things do not always pan out the way I planned, and I that as long as I am honest and do the right things everything will work out.D.P., RN
- I was dealing with a lot of Mom Guilt over spending so much time and focus on my daughter. I didn't realize how much guilt I felt for that, and other things until talking to Sarah. I was not sure what to expect as I felt like I had most of it under control but didn't really. Sarah reached out to me and made me think that talking to someone may help.
My three sessions with Sarah were very eye opening on some issues that I need to address with my mom passing and dealing with my stepdad and then how to help me deal with my mom guilt.
I benefited from learning the way I was feeling is normal and talking about it helped me realize that I am not alone with the mom guilt. Also, Sarah, helped me realize that I don't have to do things just because I feel guilt saying no. She helped me with the very difficult discussion with my stepdad that I no longer help him and that it is ok to tell him so.
Sarah knows and understands the mom guilt and I think she can really help other moms know its ok to feel this way and how to work through it.Tenise Green
My Father passed away and I was changing my life. Coaching sessions with Sarah helped me set direction and goals for my new adventure.
My experience was amazing. What I enjoyed the most was I always had a positive take away and something tangible to work towards. It made me feel motivated!!! We wrote a cover letter for my resume. I had great suggestions on how to go about organizing my home so that I could relocate and I learned how to slow down and not let things become overwhelming; staying grounded and so that I take it one step at a time!Anonymous Female, 54, Nevada
I was struggling with my work-life balance. Coaching has helped me understand many reasons for this, including not setting healthy boundaries, unclear expectations and failing to express my concerns to those I work with. Over the past few weeks coaching, I have gained significant insight into my personal issues that are contributing to my poor work life balance. I have already made some changes and more are in the works to continue to improve my life and job satisfaction.
I truly enjoyed that coaching was more like talking with a knowledgeable friend and conversational. It never felt forced or awkward. It was also nice to know and feel like there isn't a specific answer to the problem or issues, talking through the possibilities allowed me to come to the best possible answer for myself in these certain circumstances.
The biggest benefit was gaining introspection and insight into my own feelings. That's truly invaluable. I realized I develop and hold on to resentment very quickly. Being mindful of this and discussing these concerns early on in the process should help limit these thoughts. I gained a new way to view many of these obstacles and also new ways to develop a better action plan that doesn't come off the wrong way.
I would highly recommend working with Sarah to my coworkers in the clinical and hospital setting, including nurses, surgical techs and physicians.Physician, 39, Reno, NV
I was dealing with lots of waking up later than I desired and consequently not reaching my goals! I learned a little more about myself after the sessions. I am still a work in progress, but I feel I now have the tools to achieve what I want to achieve through a greater understanding of my thought process. If there's something in your life that you could improve upon or want to bring to another level, then it would be worth talking to Sarah!G.R.
